Urban Christian Ministries establishes Neighborhood relations with youth by providing a safe vehicle that motivates teens towards involvement basketball. We created pride amongst the residents focusing on positive activities within the community. We decreased the rate of youth violence, homicides and other youth related crimes within the most challenging sections of the city by involving a minimum of 20 teens from each neighborhood in an activity that absorbs their time and energy.
